I'm Dr Vanessa Spiller...

clinical psychologist, FASD educator, author and parent determined to educate everyone about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and other brain-based conditions.

Over the past decade, I have carefully created and curated a wide range of practical resources based in science, yet easy to understand.

I aim to provide training and education that helps parents, carers and professionals feel confident in working alongside and improving the lives of those with FASD and other brain-based differences!

My Story

In 2002 I started my personal journey as a foster carer of a young child with FASD. Despite my professional training there were no practical resources to guide me in parenting a child with complex brain-based differences.

My son is now an adult and our journey together is not done yet!

I am determined to make parenting a child with FASD and other brain-based differences more joyful and focused on building success!
