This full-day online FASD training provides parents and carers with the essential and unique tools for raising a child with FASD.
Based on the book "Explained by Brain" by Dr Vanessa Spiller as well as national and
international research, this training takes the science and translates it into practical strategies and approaches.
This training includes:
Essential FASD statistics and facts
How FASD is diagnosed
The impact of alcohol impact on the developing brain
Brain domains impacted by prenatal alcohol exposure
How brain domains impact behaviours to cause behavioural symptoms
Understanding the impact of trauma and other diagnoses
Parenting and behaviour management approaches that fit the brains of children with FASD
Why common parenting approaches might not work for children with FASD
How to explain my child's needs to their school
Advocating for my child

Completion of FASD Foundation training is a prerequisite for all Masterclass Level training.

To receive a refund, written notice of cancellatios must be provided in 10 working days (2 weeks) prior to the workshop date. The cancellation policy is final and not negotiable.
